I don’t know either one of these dudes or anything about them but if I accuse AMJ of cheating like he said, then it was the set that I got into a war with ratski and of course the other guy started hitting me like you said. From my perspective the timing made it rather obvious what was happening.


I’ve been censored multiple times though so at this point I am hesitant to post and not sure what I am even allowed to talk about on here but I just wanted to clarify that I don’t even know these guys and why I said what I said about this topic.

Talking to the players it is very easy to ascertain that’s one of the main things killing the game. Back at swirve the forums were crazy and that’s what made the game the most fun. I try to never post anything illegal online period but I’ve been censored here so often and I’m not sure what I actually did wrong outside of offending a moderator.

I’m just going to be quiet at this point like the rest of the players and post in the bonus threads.

You couldn't even swear on the old forums. Players have a habit of claiming, without evidence, that their current pet peeve is KILLING THE GAME. If you'd like to see the game grow, maybe don't make baseless accusations on the forums?

I’ve had a substantial amount of your user base talk about the censorship. I have had players tell me they are scared to post because of “Reddit mods”. Not trying to insult anyone here, I’m just telling you my experience here as a user because I think it’s a big enough issue to bring up here in terms of how damaging it is to online forums. I personally enjoyed all of the trolling and crazy stuff that I witnessed the user base at swirve engage in.

If you could he more specific about any claims I’ve made I would be more then happy to clarify. I assure you if I said something then there is logic behind that claim that I would always be happy to clarify on. If I said something then there’s a reason I said it.


If anyone doesn’t like me, I am fine with that. I do not support their censorship. I would rather them be allowed to speak their position.

If an argument cannot win based on merit alone and requires censorship then I don’t think it will stand the test of time.

Slag I don’t think you run a dirty game. I’ve seen zero evidence of that. When I talked about anything dirty happening I meant one verb specific thing and that’s your some of the players here have been known to organize on discord. I know you know that, we all do.

That’s part of it and in all games someone is going to play dirty. I get that. But if a veteran player sees someone playing dirty they are going to recognize that and I think you should have a little more respect if they call it out.


I think I’ve called out maybe 2-3 instances of this in my decades of playing. It’s not a claim I make often or lightly.

The only players who say that are bad actors or those who have been groomed and radicalized by bad actors. Allow me to try to express your "censorship is bad" philosophy into something more concrete: "There aren't enough posts on AT due to fear of censorship. It would be good for the game if there were more posts on AT".

Let's consider three types of censorship on AT:

1) A post of a few sentences is deleted by a forum moderator
2) A player is given a 48 hour timeout by a forum moderator
3) An entire netting alliance is killed off by a war tag because a comment was made months prior that hurt an alliance leader's fee-fees. 20 or so players lost about 6 weeks of progress.

Back in the day (Earth 2025), every good alliance leader knew that one rogue post could put a target on your back. Members were managed or they were kicked from the Clan.

Point 3 isn’t censorship in any negative connotation; it’s how clan servers work. If your members can’t keep their mouths shut and egg on a war tag, then your alliance deserves the consequences. This is a war game (clan servers) that’s based on politicking– it's been that way ever since Mehul created clan servers.

You were gracious enough to create the Coop server which is where players can behave however they want without any consequence. I suggest the kinds of people that cause their Alliance trouble move to that server.

I'm well aware of that. Here's a quote from 2011 from a former war leader:

"Trash talk overpacting in alliance all you want, but the game has gotten to the point that if you so much as even sneeze in the wrong direction someone is going to have a beef with you. All rationality in this game has gone right out the window when people's egos are involved. I'm almost afraid of posting this in fear of being killed by an English major because I didn't cross all my T's and dot all my I's."

The point is that self-censorship from the players is orders of magnitudes worse than any perceived censorship caused by "reddit mods". It's a nonsensical narrative driven by players permanently banned from the game for running multies, committing criminal acts, and causing other problems.

I think your issue honestly is that alliance is too personal. You don’t have that type of drama on any other servers and any time there is any it’s always clan related. The drama on any other server is almost non existent. The most exciting thing I’ve seen is ratski get accused of being his neighbor. I don’t know either one of these dudes for the record and that’s why I asked about it. I have no idea what he’s accused of from start to finish.

The drama is the most entertaining part of the game and your players clearly love it. Just look at what threads get all the action. It’s part of the player lore and I think you make a mistake by deleting it. Ratski is now this bad guy in the server. The other guys bullied him until he went all crazy. It’s kind of cool I would leave it be.

There could be some different parameters; such as clan gdi was going to have a feature that you could pay reps to avoid a war.

Sometimes conflict happens, whether it is cross server, weak mindset, over retals, lack of communication or they owe a debt from 5 rounds ago. We should be able to play the game within the confines of the rules.

People who no longer play or are banned from posting are still a part of the community even though they don't play anymore or can't talk here or on discord. People do some incredibly retarded stuff or take offence to different verbs that are allowed in different countries. Our road to recovery as a game.Isn't black or white and forgiveness is a good starting point imo

Honestly?
As pres of the alliance in question, there were a variety of factors in play to start that war. First, I had only just become head of the alliance, after serveral years out of the game, and many of the current leaders either a) didn't know who I was (understandable), or b, had forgotten my previous time as a leader back in the mid to late 2000's (again, also understandable).
Second, we had other leaders at the time who had been uhh, inconsistent at best in their behaviours, including having leeaked confidential information to a known suicider, which reflected on our alliance as a whole.

We have come to quite peaceable relations with that alliance since, as they have learned more about how I lead, including that I avoid playing games, and that I will call things as I see them.

Bluntly, we lost more players as a direct result of that former leader and player's actions in censoring and deleting people's posts within our alliance discord, and attempting to create a culture of player worship etc than we did because of that war. ( I lost maybe 4 poeple out of that war. We lost 10 or more because of the former player.

I was notified to check this thread apparently someone was starting a smear campaign.

Also, we can all thank Slagpit for creating the coop server where you guys can net in peace without having to worry about diplomacy in a war game.

PDM and Mercs are solid. We’ve had several instances where we worked out retals on accidental grabs (like how the game was meant to be played). They’re the 3rd best war clan in the game behind SOL and Mercs. :) keep up the good work Drow and PDM.

I am the guy who said that Ratski gets deleted for running multiple countries and it was my posts that got deleted. It is a running joke on here that Rats and his "neighbor" are the same "guy" and constantly repeated by a large portion of the regular forum contributors.

Anyways, i am here happy to play and enjoy express server. The only server where you can actually have fun be it netting or killing.
